Show us yer minge, no, not that one...

Guess the celebrity with the word 'minge' tattooed on their ankle (and no, it's not Peaches Geldof)...

Perhaps it has a different meaning in the US (like fanny) but the 'minged' ankle belongs to Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried.

Unfortunately, she was later trumped by Johnny Borrell...

Johnny Borrell

  • Superb. Almost as interesting as the Labia Museum in Simonstown in South Africa. I've never been in, as I just know I'd be disappointed.

  • And I thought the "sunshine and showers" tattoo was an all time low.

  • First off she's a daft cow and was told what it mean't. I also didn't understand her "I look at my foot and find it so hilarious" comment. *wtf face*

And I can't imagine Firth saying minge. He's so uptight.

  • It gets worse. So she actually knew what it meant? Jeez. But why the fuck then on her fucking foot? A little joke, a personal whimsy, a sourvenir. But it's on her foot for all to see. Re fucking tard.

  • The actress revealed her Mamma Mia! co-star Colin Firth was the inspiration for the unusual tattoo.

She told Glamour magazine: '...Colin Firth used to say that word on set and Rachel (McDowell) had to explain to me what it meant.

'So it's on my foot. It's to make me laugh, and every time I look at it I do.

Blame Firth, he's behind it, preying on the dim. I'm off to take a walk around Chiswick to listen for the sound of some posho shouting, "Minge"

  • Nah - then in that case she'd have ended up with Quynte on her foot.....

    koshmar Fri, 02/04/2010 - 10:40
  • Excellent!!!!! I presume they were discussing her?

    stella ah trois Fri, 02/04/2010 - 08:42
  • It means nothing in the States. I know. I have in NYC all of my life.

She got it after hearing Colin Firth and Dominic Cooper use the term while they filmed Mamma Mia.

So basically, she has a v*gina on her foot....

  • As you probably realise, I'm no fan of this bint. She's always got a shit-eating smile which says "Fuck you, I might be no stunner or brainbox but I'm a lucky cunt".

Not particularly good nor anything to write home about, I hope she slides back to the anonymity she was before. Doubt it though

    koshmar Fri, 02/04/2010 - 00:26
  • Could it be that Amanda IS as foolish as she looks?

On a separate note, I know why Mr Borrell is such a knob. It's because he knows he's ugly and he's pissed off about it.

  • This is truly weird. Not believing she can possibly have this on her in perma stencil and it not mean soemthing else as you suggest, I have done some research. As well as the usual definitions and the clear sense that this is a UK, British word, other meaning could be:

    2. Term of endearment for a close friend

    But, also....

"The Mongol word for "beaver" - absolutely no joshing!
As seen on exibit caption in Natural History Museum, Ulan Bataar."

Totally stunning all round. An education.

Tis thought to be either of Romany or Germanic origin (when pronounced with a hard G as in MinGer and was used to describe the whole vagina and not just the hairy bits. (A bit like how we still have cunt from the old English/med English Quynte.)

Whatever, it's just minging and we are no further knowing why the fuck the retard has this as a tattoo.

  • There's a 'W' missing before the anchor on Borrell's napper...

Amanda Seyfried is one of these precious little things who was fucking lucky landing a plum role like that of 'Annoying Gushing Cunt' in the film Mamma Mia, and can thus boast working with Streep, Brosnan, Firth, etc.

In other words, a Right Lucky Bastard. She has to be related to, or sucking the cock of, someone high up....
