WHAT WE THINK!
The BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) are a range of awards for different areas of the entertainment industry, specifically Television and Film (hence the acronym), but they also include Welsh BAFTAs, Scottish BAFTAs, gaming BAFTAs and children's BAFTAs.
The awards are the the most well-recognised and respected film and television awards in Britain and many of the winners also receive awards at the Oscars too. In 2011, the big winners were Black Swan and The King's Speech, the YouTube Audience Award was won by The Only Way is Essex, much to the disgust and ire of the Academy, but when you get people to vote using YouTube, what do you expect? Exactly!
