WHAT WE THINK!
Big Brother is the show that takes on only the most mentally unhinged/fame starved contestants, plonks them in a house with 24 hour camera observation and then puts them through rigorous emotional and physical tests, like dressing them as humpy dumpty and making them change their names legally to things like dogface and halfwit. Ho ho ho.
Still, Big Brother has produced some comedy gold in its ten year run, and has spawned a new bevvy of celebrity, notable former housemates include Brian Dowling, Josie Gibson, Imogen Thomas and the ill fated Jade Goody.
After a decade on Channel 4, this year Big Brother 2011 returns on Channel 5 (as does Celebrity Big Brother 2011), and we look forward to the tantrums, tears and pseudo intellectual debate to come.
