1. Breaking Bad
Season four was the best yet for the unlikely meth chefs. No spoilers, except to say Walt & Jesse are both driven steadily and destructively mental by their dealings with Gus. And it has the most unpredictable and jaw dropping ending of any series in recent memory. And there’s still one more to come. "Can you walk? Then get the fuck outta here and never come back."

Big Brother 2011: Aaron is crowned the winner, Big Brother fans furious

As Aaron stepped out of the house, he was greeted with overwhelming boos from the audience, the first time for a Big Brother winner. Throughout the show, whenever Aaron's name was read out by host Brian, it was greeted with more boos, Aaron kept asking: 'Why do they hate me?'

With Louise, Aaron, Alex and Jay left in the house, it was anyones to win, with Alex being the public and housemates' favourite.

Big Brother 2011 Day 62: Bit on the Side in the garden and Alex is the best housemate

In today's task, the housemates are campaigning to be 'the Housemates' Housemate'. They give five minute speeches about why they deserve the title. Tom is reflecting about his time in the house, he's learnt that “I’m a mouthy, rude gobshite.” Housemates cast their votes for “The Housemates’ Housemate” and place their votes in a ballot box.

Close, but not close enough

Big Brother 2011: Tom is evicted, Alex gets hysterical at spending one day without him

The 21-year-old from Birmingham received the lowest amount of public votes of the final five housemates.

When Tom's name was announced as the next evictee, Alex was reduced to floods at having to spend one night without Tom. The pair had formed a close relationship in the house, with recent revelations they'd been snogging.

Unusually for this series of Big Brother, Tom was met with a full audience of cheers when he departed the house, his reaction was to jump around punching the air, shouting 'fucking get in!'

Big Brother 2011 Day 61: Pampering and confrontation

After Jay and Aaron spend an eternity smoking in silence, Jay finally talks to Aaron. Aaron says that he felts as though Jay and Louise had gone behind his back to buy Alex and Tom birthday presents without telling him. Jay tries to reason with Aaron, but he is not budging. Jay gives up.

Jay tells Alex and Louise that he had more fun on holiday, because he could do what he wanted, unlike in the house: “You can’t do fuck all, you can’t kick someone’s fucking head in for pissing you off, I can’t put this table through, you can’t have spirits, I have to eat cheap shit ration food, I’ve had a good time but I’m ready to leave, he’s making life worse for us,” he rants as Louise and Alex share worried looks. He could hulk out at any minute

Big Brother 2011 Day 59: It's Alex and Tom's birthday, Aaron psyches out Jay

The housemates are awoken to the Macarena as it is Alex's 19th birthday today, and Tom's 21st birthday tomorrow. In the diary room, Big Brother tells Alex and Tom that in order to win music at their party tonight, they must dance the Macarena on the stage whenever the music plays. Philosophically, Tom says, “Macarena isn’t just a dance, it’s a way of life.”

Jay tells Louise that he banged a ladyboy when he was in Bangkok, but it was OK because she was post-op.

Big Brother 2011: Faye gets evicted, hopes Aaron loves her, he probably doesn't

When her name was announced, Aaron, her 'boyfriend', looked shell shocked. Faye said to him "I love you, don't forget that" and "You're gonna get out of here, you're gonna go on and you're gonna make lots of babies, and you're gonna die an old lady warm in her bed, not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me?" Except not that part, because that's from Titanic.

Big Brother 2011 Day 55: In which the housemates must stay clean

In order to stop the housemates from being clean, firstly Big Brother asks Alex to carry out a tray of virgin bloody marys out of the diary room. Alex tells Big Brother she won't spill them. She immediately drops them all over herself. Next Tom and Aaron have to feed each other soup on mini bucking broncos. Aaron isn't as good as Tom, he justifies this as “It’s not my forte putting things in my mouth.” Everyone laughs at Aaron's semi-erect penis.

Big Brother 2011 Day 54: The housemates recount their tales of love

Yesterday Aaron complained about the lack of intelligent conversation, so Jay vowed to have an in-depth chat about space and shit. In the sauna they talk about the Large Hadron Collider, the Big Bang and the gravitational pull of the sun.

The housemates have been given a love task. Housemates will be performing the love stories that have happened in the house. Aaron and Alex perform Jay and Louise's love story in the style of a musical theatre, with the remarkable line: “On my God she’s so pretty/ I would like to squeeze her titties” - Majestic.
