WHAT WE THINK!

The third (and final) film of Christopher Nolan's Batman film series featuring Christian Bale as Batman. Christopher Nolan reinvented the Batman series with Batman Begins, a more dark and realistic than previous Batman films (the ones by Tim Burton etc). Starring Christian Bale as Batman, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth and Gary Oldman as Sgt. Gordon. Batman Begins featured Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes, Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul and Cillian Murphy as Dr Jonathon Crane/The Scarecrow. The film was followed up by The Dark Knight which had Heath Ledger as The Joker - the main threat to Batman, with Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, who becomes Two-Face. The Dark Knight Rises will have Tom Hardy as villain Bane and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. On an estimated budget of $250 million, filming commenced on May 6, 2011, in Jodhpur, India and is scheduled to conclude in November, spending four to six weeks in Pittsburgh. As well as Osterley House in West London, which will feature as Wayne Manor in the film.
