WHAT WE THINK!

Reading Festival, the world's oldest popular music festival still in existence, takes place every year on the August Bank Holiday and runs alongside Leeds festival. Early performers included Meatloaf, Alice Cooper and The Jam. In 1992, Nirvana performed a very memorable set and the festival has gone from strength-to-strength. In recent years, headliners have included: The Killers, Metallica, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and in 2010, the festival saw Arcade Fire, Guns N' Roses and Blink 182 as headliners Acts that have been 'bottled off the stage', a tradition at Reading, includes: Daphne & Celeste, Good Charlotte, The Rasmus, Panic! At the Disco and 50 Cent while trying to perform
