WHAT WE THINK!

T in the Park is Scotland's major music festival, named after its main sponsor the brewing company Tennents. It was originally held at Strathclyde Park, but since 1997 has been held at a disused airfield in Perth. Originally a two-day festival, but since 2007 has taken place over three days. The festival is promoted by Big Day Out and takes place on the same weekend as Oxegen in Ireland and shares a very similar line-up each year. The festival features seven stages of music, the 2011 festival taking place on 8–11 July 2011 has Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, and Foo Fighters as headliners.
