The Saturdays' Rochelle wants kids to be doctors and lawyers, not a popstar like mummy

They also knew that Rochelle's inherent ability to make logical decisions would be frowned upon by her bandmates in The Saturdays, and that she would try her best to suppress the urges she was feeling. Urges that would push her to do crazy things like reading the words as well as looking at the pictures, or writing her own music rather than just singing someone else's.

US continues to beat UK in Jingle Bell Ball, uses Lady Gaga against One Direction

As you can imagine, the US did slightly better out of the deal than we did, with both Lady Gaga and David Guetta performing alongside a selection of other stars who seemed to have taken their names from the SAGA holiday brochure, like Taio Cruz and Flo Rida.

Meanwhile over here we had Jessie J, One Direction and James Morrison. Doesn't seem quite fair does it? Mind you, they did spell 'kiss' wrong, so perhaps they're just trying to make up for it.

Tuesday's alright for lighting

The Saturdays turn on Christmas lights with Toby Anstis and The Pierces, weirdly

So as you can imagine, when they were offered the chance to turn on the Oxford Circus Christmas lights, a duty that's usually done by an intern or whoever's last to leave the council office, they were overjoyed. Even more so when they found out they'd be joining Toby Anstis and our pals The Pierces. What a classic mix.

Speaking of Toby Anstis, did you know he has a degree in psychology and marketing from the University of Surrey? And that he DJs in Ibiza? Nope, neither did we. Well done Toby. See, it wasn't straight down after the O-Zone, was it?

GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2011: red carpet arrivals, winners and Abbey Clancy's knickers

Obviously women dominated the red carpet at the man-themed event, with Abbey Clancy and Holly Valance competing over underwear exposure (Clancy won). Lara Stone actually won a Man of the Year award, which is a bit weird - what are GQ trying to tell us? David Walliams is currently swimming through sewage (not a euphemism for the red carpet) so couldn't attend, but there were a few other couples - Jamie Cullum and Sophie Dahl, Kelly Brook and that guy, Daisy Lowe and Matt Smith, the latter of which picked up a prize for Best Dressed.

V Festival Day 2: less naughtiness, more Rihanna and The Saturdays

So, who was there? Well, Shingai Soniwa (from the Noisettes), Dionne Bromfield, Ellie Goulding, Eliza Doolittle, N-Dubz with the now truly famous Tulisa Contostavlos, The Saturdays, Rihanna, Brooke Vincent, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, KT Tunstall and Wiz Khalifa.

Wonder how hairy Jessie J's leg is now? Horrible thought isn't it.

First up we've got Kelly Brook looking pensive yet positive in a car park somewhere, James Franco at the LA film fest, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz at the Bad Teacher premiere, Claudia Schiffer and Matthew Vaughn in London's Notting Hill, Lady Gaga dressed up as a boardmarker, Amanda Seyfried in an airport or something, Nick Grimshaw at a car boot sale and Una Healy trying to fend off a worryingly intense looking fan who's seemingly wearing a 'Moldova Forever' t-shirt.

Glamour Woman of the Year awards: Kim Kardashian, Jessie J, Adele win underserved awards

The criteria for awards like this usually go like this: If it's the 2011 awards then the prizes are dished out based on 2010 achievements, you know, seeing as we are only in JUNE of 2011. So, on this basis, these awards are a birrova joke.

No matter how much the world is kissing her very talented arse, Adele did not release one second of music in 2010.
