When Christine Bleakley decided she wanted to get paid loads of money by ITV to ruin breakfast television, the BBC needed someone to replace her. After Bleakley's incomprehensible accent and big smiley face won the viewers over, BBC decided to go and pilfer from BBC Regions once again and found Alex Jones. More-or-less a Welsh version of Bleakely, with a big ol' smiley face and thick accent.

Since her profile has risen, all of Alex's footage from Welsh TV and the Sky One's Magaluf-based gameshow abomination Prickly Heat has come out. CRINGE!
