At least he drew the line at recreating her blood encrusted ballet pumps with rubies and 'Blake' tattoo in embroidery, but can we now expect to see the world's wealthiest women in Fred Perry collars, pencil skirts and baseball jackets, plus eye-flicks, exposed bra straps and beehives if they really want to complete the full styling? The black veils definitely seemed like a touch too far.

Quite literally a standard lamp that looks like Amy Winehouse

The only problem we have with it* is the rather flowery description:

No more new songs from Amy Winehouse

At a New York playback of the album, Remi told the press:

"She had written down everything she wanted to do."

But frustratingly, only the tracks Between The Cheats and Like Smoke were recorded – and will appear on Lioness: Hidden Treasures, released on December 5.

Amy was also planning a jazz supergroup, with The Roots drummer ?uestlove (who appears on the previously unreleased Frank outtake Half Time, also on the new compilation).

Pete Doherty being haunted by Amy Winehouse's spirit, ghost not booze

Talking to The Sun, a 'pal' of Doherty revealed that the singer has fled to Paris because he says the ghost of Amy Winehouse is haunting his London flat, explaining:

"He is utterly convinced that he has seen her ghost."

"A lot of people will think his visions are probably drug-induced but he claims he is clean."

Yeah, cleaner than the upturned mop he mistook for poor ol' Wino.

Amy Winehouse inquest finds she died of alcohol poisoning

An earlier toxicology report showed there were no illegal drugs in her system at the time of her death. It’s also been revealed that Amy had not had an alcoholic drink for three weeks prior to the binge that killed her.

The inquest also heard that Amy’s live-in security guard had checked on the singer in the morning of the 23rd and, seeing that she was in bed, assumed she was asleep. It was only when he looked in on her again, five hours later, that emergency services were called. Three empty bottles of vodka were found at the scene.

Amy Winehouse family to appear on US chatshow

Mitch Winehouse, along with Amy’s mum Janis, her stepmum Jane and boyfriend Reg Traviss will all be appearing on CNN anchor Anderson Cooper’s new US show on Monday (Sep 12) to speak for the first time about her death.

The show’s host tweeted: “I’m really looking forward to speaking with Amy Winehouse’s family. They’ve been through so much, and her talent was so great.”

The records we buy say something about us as people. Statistics such as best-seller-of-the-century will be how future generations judge our taste. And while we can feel a sense of satisfaction and achievement that Amy’s 2006 classic will define this decade and the last, we need to now make sure we buy a load more records of quality. Because if we don’t, all of us will have to have the following conversation with our children...
