Not to be confused with Shakespeare’s wife, this Anne Hathaway is an American actress who got her break in Disney comedy The Princess Diaries and then did The Devil Wears Prada and Bride Wars. But she also proved herself as A Serious Actress with Brokeback Mountain and Rachel Getting Married, the latter gaining her an Oscar nomination (serious actress plus naked / topless scenes, anyway ...). She is now rising right up the ranks to join the Hollywood A-List having proved herself to be a surprisingly substantial talent and not just a dizzy rom-commer. And after getting so successful so quickly, she also found herself an equally successful property developer boyfriend. It was all going so well until the FBI busted him for epic fraud and said that Anne had benefitted from his illicit gains. Oops - she dumped him soon after that.

This week's style round-up centres on the fash-off between the old Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and the New Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as they both do the very un-Lisbeth thing of posing on the red carpet. We'd like to give Noomi Rapace credit for being the original, but we're afraid Rooney Mara wins in her white Givenchy Couture.
