Oh, for the days of 'Bennifer'. Remember them? Before 'Brangelia', 'Bennifer' was the biggest star-merge in Hollywood. Ah well. Since the break up with J-Lo, the well-connected wally has gone on to marry and have kids with Jennifer Garner, a much more low-key and un-entertaining relationship. Affleck first got into our brains playing a boorish frat boy in Kevin Smith's Mallrats, a role that seemed to suit his personality well. Later he teamed up with Matt Damon for the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting and has most recently appeared in some fairly good films, including The Town and The Company Men, plus he directed Gone Baby Gone, whic was also rather good. Seems to becoming better and better in his old age (ish).
