People laughed, people cried, people scratched their heads and wondered what it was all about. Well, let us tell you, it was a gala to celebrate ten years of Bill Clinton's nonprofit company, which also coincided with the former president's 65 birthday. Nice one, Hillary, way to get out of organising a party.

Here's Gaga doing her equivalent to Marilyn's Happy Birthday Mr President, just to make Bill feel really confused. Don't worry, Bill, you're only as old as the person you feel. Gaga's mid-20s, right?

Poor old Benji is not as well known as his identical twin and bandmate Joel. While Joel sings and married Nicole Ritchie, Benji does back-up vocals and argued with Paris Hilton. Despite being covered in tattoos and wearing eyeliner, the comedy goth still seems to live the glossy LA dream. A Good Charlotte album seems to have as much priority as the twins' roles in a shlocky teen movie.

Paris Hilton is still in love with Benji Madden

Like the proverbial dog in the manger Hilton has been whining to friends about how Madden is the love of her life and is even prepared to go to the extreme lengths of listening to one of his 'Good Charlotte' albums, so she must be serious and not just trying to score points from Katy Perry (probably a hateful person but a bona fide singer with number one hits, unlike Miss Hilton herself).

Paris Hilton splits from Benji Madden

An 'insider' explained that it was all Benji's fault, so the insider probably has the name 'Paris' and 'Hilton' lurking around their birth certificate.

"Paris was fed up with Benji always telling her what to do and bossing her around. She couldn't take his overbearing ways anymore. It was stressing her out. He can be very aggressive and he was just too much trouble.

"She felt she couldn't cut loose and party. He doesn't drink and doesn't think she should either.
