Beyonce goes to see Jay-Z at Carnegie Hall, looks fairly amazing

So, here are Beyonce and Jay-Z heading out for a night out after reportedly recruiting six nannies to look after baby Blue Ivy Carter, as well as trademarking her name (just to save BIC biros from cashing in). It was a big night out so they might have even needed a few extra babysitters; the new dad was performing as the first ever rapper at Carnegie Hall. He's got 99 problems but too much of a high pitch ain't one - boom!

Didn't he retire?

Beyonce gives birth to a baby called Ivy Blue Carter

According to various US reports, Beyonce gave birth to Ivy Blue Carter in New York last night, while various celebs (ones who probably actually have the singer's mobile number) have tweeted their congrats, such as Rihanna, who wrote:

"Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."

Regardless of how much Ivy Blue might resemble a cushion, this news does make us very happy indeed.

We heard this news on the radio, so we're just guessing that the named is spelt 'Blue' rather than 'Blew', which would be a bit weird.

The week in fashion: HM style round-up, 25 November 2011

In this mix this week, we have Blake Lively twice, once as a power dressing bitch in a colbolt suit and again in that see-through tassling Marchesa thing we sort of hate. Chloe Moretz also makes two entries - first up in a suitably youthful Stella McCartney number and then again in a slightly too grown-up Dolce and Gabbana prom dress.

Bee-yonce, geddit?

Round two of Heidi Klum Halloween, plus Beyonce as a bee and Kyle MacLachlan as a carrot

Generally New York fared much better than the west coast over the weekend (Paris Hilton as She-Ra - yuk), although Miranda Kerr's party, which she foolishly scheduled to run consecutively alongside Klum's, looked a bit flat, with the supermodel as circus ring leader (with an empty big top). Meanwhile, Beyonce looked cute as a bee at another bash in the city, although Klum's guests did the best. She wouldn't have let them in otherwise.

Beyonce's baby bump collapses live on air, not as worrying as it sounds

Arriving on Australia’s Sunday Night show, Beyonce sat down to chat to the host - and as she did so, her bump inverted. Bit weird, although let's try and calm down the angry internet mob who are speculating that her entire pregnancy might be a big fake (or that she might have a devil baby)....The 30-year-old confirmed that her due date is in February, which puts her at roughly five months - a bit of an awkward time when some pregnant ladies may just feel a bit plump.
