Either way, those plucky freaks the Magnificently Cruel Four have been putting through the grinder for what seems like the last 38 years are now getting their chance to work their magic and become the superstars they were always destined to be. Until the public or Simon get bored of them that is, so around two months at most.

Kelly Brook at Playboy energy drink launch, The Only Way is Essex are turned away

Anyway, at the Playboy energy drink (Hef you rascal) launch party last night there were a dazzling array of celebs, from Kelly Brook to Nicole Scherzinger via titstastrophe Sophie Reade. Exactly why they were helping promote the brand is a total mystery to us, surely we must have some Playboy girls over here aside from Kelly? We've seen her baps and trumpet so many times they're actually burnt onto Mr HM's retina.

The award for best costume goes to Bobby Davro, who came dressed as Ozzy Osbourne. You would never have guessed, but Bobby is ten years younger than the actual Ozzy - despite having a face wrinklier than Madonna's hands. We're looking forward to seeing the pictures of Ozzy Osbourne's Bobby Davro costume.

Paris Hilton launches fragrance, mistakenly turns up in fancy dress

Are there still people who buy celebrity fragrances? Whenever I'm at Duty Free the shelves are always groaning with these bottles of puddlewater. There's obviously still some incredibly stupid people out there who see smeling like Paris HIlton as a good thing.

What do you think this will smell of? My bet is musk of Arab with a hint of anus and an overtone of melted My Little Pony.

And "Tease"? TEASE?! What next? "Essence of Vulva" from Kerry Katona?

I'm not quite sure what shapes the dude is trying to throw, but someone should have told him that Molly Ringwald, Rob Lowe and Simon Le Bon weren't inside drinking Babycham and playing Pacman.

Representing the modern day was winner Joe McElderry, Rachel Adedeji, Holly Willoughby (is that a little beautiful Tanya Macintosh I spy in the background?!) Stacey Solomon and Jedward.

Michael Jackson's concert movie gets it's UK premiere

This is brilliant if you live in America as you could just go straight from work. However, bad news if you live in London - the bloody thing didn't kick off until 1am. Did this stop celebrity turning up in their tens? Well, not really. Peter Andre turned up still wearing black, Brian Friedman arrived in his Alex Reid costume and Abi Clancy reminded us all of a man's legacy for having fake pointy things attached to his body, in the shape of a couple of rather impressive tractor nuts. What?!
