Jason Alexander calls Britney Spears' engagement 'fake', says there's no connection

BUT IT'S NOT ACTUALLY THAT JASON ALEXANDER! Oh how we laughed Ha ha... ha .... ha...... No, it's obviously Britney's Vegas fling Jason Alexander. As if George Costanza would even care, he was always Team Aguilera.

Following the news of Britney's wedding plans, Alexander told UsMagazine.com:

"It's sort of sad... I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not. I think it's fake and I think people are afraid to say it... If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection. They look like they are going through the motions."

Billboard's end of year poll: Gaga wins most overrated and most valuable, logic failure

Curiously this has meant several of the winners in one category actually conflict with that of another, however, since it's Christmas and Christianity is the only religion that really matters, everyone (including us) is more than happy to just take what they've been given and pretend the rest don't exist.

London Last Night: Karen Gillan, a Geldof, a Winstone and many more

We were mostly pleased to see Karen Gillan back, although she's not actually been anywhere other than the Domnar Warehouse for the stage production of Inadmissible Evidence - "an intensely compelling portrait of loss, betrayal and defeat unleashes the author's characteristic soaring rhetorical venom to powerful effect." LOLarama. But it does have Karen in it. She definitely deserves a trip to Groucho club after getting through that every night for a month.

Jedward join Britney Spears on stage at the O2 Arena, watch the ridiculous video footage

Admittedly, the only video footage we have of this outrageous ocurance is rubbish. We can't even see Britney Spears and we can only just make out Jedward.

Just look at all their Tweets, though. We can't be certain, but we think they might be quite happy that they got to go on stage with Britney.

"We are gonna get to meet Britney spears (sic). It gonna be the Biggest Moment of our Life! And the biggest Moment for Jedward Fans.

As anyone who’s ever thrown a woefully under-attended party will tell you, a half-full room is a sorry, sorry sight. So, much as you’d desperately invite a few ‘filler’ friends to get the numbers up, and make outlandish promises of a bathful of beer, Britney’s people have slashed ticket prices and are offering free tickets to anyone buying 10.

Britney Spears accused of making gun crime fun by Hackney Council

Courting controversy like a Maris Piper courts a good mashing, Spears has been ticked off by Hackney Council, a council still reeling from the loss of its most profitable Chicken Cottage franchisee, after filming a scene in the area for her new video. A scene in which she holds a gun*. Councilor Ian Rathbone spoke to London Tonight about the issue:

"I think she should apologize and make a sizeable donation to a Hackney charity that deals with young people, in compensation for the rudeness and damage that she's done to our community,"
