Transylvanian twins Monica and Gabriela Irimia who rose to fame after releasing a hit song blessed with the immortal chorus “Touch my bum - this is life”. Which was written by their mum. Their lives didn’t really need to get any weirder after that, but they still did, when Gabriela started dating Lembit Opik, a Lib Dem MP with a passion for aliens and unidentified flying objects. Which may be why the very skinny twins had boob jobs. Still, Lembit has long since flown away and the Cheeky Girls now live in Rye, East Sussex, in a bungalow called Cheeky Towers. Oh and their seven-year-old niece has recorded a version of the Hokey Cokey. You could not make this stuff up.
