Formerly the drummer with Nirvana, Dave Grohl moved to centre stage when he became the frontman of The Foo Fighters, the band he founded after Kurt Cobain topped himself. Considered to be “the nicest man in rock”, Dave Grohl’s smile is so large that his mouth is widely believed to contain Shergar, Lord Lucan and the lost city of Atlantis. He is so unbelievably nice that after some trapped Australian miners requested an iPod with Foo Fighters songs be sent to them, he wrote them a note saying they could also have two tickets to any Foos concert they liked and a cold beer with him if they ever came back up again. Which they did! We hope he paid for the beer. What a DUDE!
