David Beckham, on the other hand, has only got three friends. Apparently, when you’re a millionaire ball-kicker and underwear, er, wearer, you only need three friends.

Talking to Men's Health, he said:

“It’s all you need. I’d rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends.”

Now, obviously we take our investigative journalism very seriously at Holy Moly, so after reading the Daily Mail's article, we decided to Google 'Joanne Beckham's birthday' - and look what came up; THIS story from The Sun reporting that it was the girl's 25th birthday in March 2007. We're confused.

David Beckham cited as the main reason for the Stone Roses reunion, apparently

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to Beckham explained exactly how the squeaky voiced father-of-four had managed to persuade the curmudgeonly Roses to stop messing about with other people and get on with making another album:

"David has always been a huge Stone Roses fan.

"You've got to remember he was a young lad in Manchester when The Roses were a big deal. It was impossible to live there without being into the band.

"Ian and Mani are Reds through and through so they all knew each other a bit back in the day.

The first picture, which we're sure is why you clicked on this article to begin with, is Gene's Simmons less than savoury derriere. Gene is reportedly newly-engaged to Shannon Tweed. No-one really cares about this as they've been together for about 50 years, but photographs asked to see the ring, he dropped his trousers and revealed a very unpleasant backside.

Do Something Awards 2011: David Beckham, Will Ferrell and Justin Bieber

Of course, just giving the awards out to the people who won them would be utterly pointless. We all know that it's the thought of appearing on celebrity web blogs and VH1's late night schedule that drives people to altruistic activities. So, with this in mind VH1 decided to ask their favourite celebrities along to the event and gave them awards too, thereby giving the whole proceedings the credibility it so lacked. Which explains why David Beckham won a footballing award. Well done David.
