After David Fincher spat a mental over a New York critic breaking a review embargo, we're too afraid to write anything about his version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. We can probably mention the book though - that was pretty good, it's about a goth hacker and a journo who investigate a 30 year old mystery. Are we allowed to say who the two main stars are? That's probably a step too far, but look who was on the red carpet - hint hint... 

Here in the cut & thrust world of reviewing stuff for a living we’re all familiar with films being placed under a review embargo. It basically means the PR company ask us not to publish our feelings about a movie until a certain date. We’re fine with that, and we understand how they like to maximize publicity to coincide with the release date. But when film critic for The New Yorker failed to comply to this agreement, he brought down the wrath of director David Fincher, and now we’re all living in fear.
