Director David Fincher chucks a mental about critics reviewing his film too early

So what happened was…

Reviewer David Denby published his review of David Fincher’s latest flick, the remake of the Swedish film of the book The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, before the December 13 embargo. This was a very bad thing to do. So bad it made an angry Fincher send an open letter to the entire film reviewing industry saying:

"We have punished Denby, and he is a big-deal film critic. Don't think we won't do the same."

What did they do to him? Denby, if you’re reading this in a Hollywood basement/dungeon, hang in there buddy.

Celebs turn out in force for Hopings Got Talent event in London - pic gallery

Due to a disappointing google search, my knowledge of Hopings Got Talent is limited to what Tim in the office says (Not Tim from 'The Office' - I don't know him). It's something to do with Palestine and reality TV and hope and stuff and is apparently very moving. Jolly well done Mr. Hoping.

Glad to see something as worthwhile as that attracts so many stars. Bono will be gutted he wasn't told.

Brad Pitt gives Mel Gibson some stick at Guys Choice Honour Awards

Mel opened the show by arriving on horseback and wearing a viking helmet.

As Brad and co walked on stage in slightly more sombre gear, Brad came out with the immortal line:
"Thanks Sugar Tits!" In reference to Mel's comment to a female police officer after being caught hammered behind the wheel.

Good work Bradley!
