The criteria for awards like this usually go like this: If it's the 2011 awards then the prizes are dished out based on 2010 achievements, you know, seeing as we are only in JUNE of 2011. So, on this basis, these awards are a birrova joke.

No matter how much the world is kissing her very talented arse, Adele did not release one second of music in 2010.

National Television Awards 2011: Here come the girls!

Big Brother 2010: Jo evicted from the house, details of Ultimate Big Brother

At one point it seems like all of the housemates were called Jo/e, but now there's one less as 'Jo' exited the series last night after receiving 39.4% of the public vote (we think the decimal means there's more than a hundred people watching it).

Jo was greeted by some boos and Davina after spending 14 days in the house. Farewell.

Big Brother 2010: Rachel is evicted while Mario does a shit magic trick with Davina

Rachel became the seventh housemate to be evicted last night, which finally evened things out to seven evictees and seven new housemates; yet still not managing to restore the purpose of the show, which was lost weeks ago when they just started chucking in housemates for the fun of it.

On leaving the house, Davina asked her how she was feeling, to which Rachel replied with complete sincerity:

"I'm feeling ecstatic - is that a word?"

We think we died a little bit inside when that happened.

Big Brother 2010: Housemates fail first Dickens task, Davina McCall to levitate?

John James and Rachel became Miss Havishams, Dickens' jilted bride from Great Expectations and their challenge was to complete Endurance Miss Havisham, a 24 hour sit-in in the large task room. Had it been John James and Josie they could have whiled away the time with at least some dry humping but alas it was Rachel, so the pair decided to quit after four hours.

Not really, but contestants from previous series will compete against each other (strictly no killing though) to either face eviction or be crowned the Ultimate Big Brother contestant.

What a title.

Channel 4 released the following statement:

"On August 24 the 11th (and final series on Channel 4) will end abruptly, much to the current housemates' surprise.

Big Brother 2010: Exclusive news. A mole working for BB is going in the house tonight!
