Former Member of Parliament and Secretary of State for Health, Edwina Currie was a formidable force in the political circuit in the Conservative government. She had to step down from her position when she warned everyone that eggs were full of salmonella which pissed off a lot of egg farmers. 

Since leaving politics, she has hosted her own radio show, released a whole bunch of books, and appeared on reality TV shows such as Hell's Kitchen.

She also revealed that her and John Major were having a big old boring affair. BORING.
