To be honest, not everyone looked miserable, it was largely just Alexa Chung. She probably got cornered by Bob Geldof on the way in - he's always a cheery one at Christmas. Elsewhere, there was Kate Moss and her daughter, Sharlene Splithairy, Emma Bunton, Kelly Holmes, Macca and his new bride, Mariella Frostrup and Eddy Monsoon reminding us to set the digibox for Ab Fab on the 25th. Although not to be too massively hopeful about enjoying it - the chance of Chung smiling is probably more likely.

Pride of Britain Awards 2011: Cheryl Cole, Tulisa, Nicola Roberts, Abbey Clancy and more

The Pride of Britain awards are given to the unsung heroes of the nation, which is a very nice idea because it's normally pesky celebs hogging the headlines rather than brave school teachers, nurses and lollipop ladies. Except, hang on, what's this - pesky celebs hogging the limelight at the awards? Hmmm, we're sure they were just there to offer moral support and the fact that Cheryl Cole turned up in a Victoria Beckham dress will only be mentioned as a total afterthought.

Last night's ITV Summer Party, invite list extended far and wide

Just kiddin', we love Pollard really. In fact, you can forgot about Jay-Z's remake of Annie starring Willow Smith because Pollard will be appearing in a stage adaptation of the film at Poole's Lighthouse Centre this autumn. Sit on that, Hollywood.

Also at the ITV Summer Party, which was held in Notting Hill, we have the TOWIE lot, Richard Bacon, Nicky Clarke, Myleene Klass, Michael Ball, Martin Kemp, Lynda Bellingham, Lembit Opik, John Sergeant, Jeff Brazier, Emma Bunton, Elen Rivas and more (ie, the 'all talent' mailing list in the party-planning committee's address book).

Mel B pregnant with third child, new hobby for the Spice Girls

It's a third child for Melanie Brown, who already 12-year-old Phoenix Chi and three-year-old Angel Iris from past relationships. And it's a second baby for husband of three years, Stephen Belafonte, who, incidentally, has spent most of his life looking like a baby himself. He described the moment his wife's piss turned the blank pregnancy test positive:

"I promptly got a bottle of Cristal champagne and said, 'Baby, enjoy this glass because you can't drink anymore!' I must tell you, she really enjoyed that glass of Cristal."

Don't Stop Believing launch reveals the newest bellend on television

I'm proud to introduce to you a Mr. Chucky Klapow - a little baby boy with a chocolate bar for a name who is convinced he is 30 years old but has the face of Satan. FYI He is the choreographer for all the High School Musical film i.e. a bit weird.

Who was out in London last night?

Does this photo make anyone else's skin crawl?

We've never heard of this Michael Evans fellow but it's safe to say we never want to hear from him again. The smarmy look on his face, the pretentious neck scarf, the awful sweaty flicked back hair, the sucking of cock(tails) from a pineapple and, most of all, the guests, all make for a completely poisonous combination.

Louie Spence celebrates birthday at Chinawhite, party of the decade

Louie celebrated his 41st birthday at Chinawhite yesterday and despite rumours that Kate Moss was vying for an invite (any excuse to get spangled) we couldn't spot her stumbling out of the club clinging onto Jamie Hince. But Louie didn't mind, as he was busy being welcomed into the wonderful world of celebrity by the other famous guests who did attend, such as er, Emma Bunton, her boyfriend Jade from former boyband Damage, Dave Gardner, Jason Gardiner (pretending to take Louie from behind ^) the Big issue seller from the Sunday Sport party and Donna Air.

Spice Girls to reunite again?

This bunch were once amongst the most famous women in the world. Unbelievable.

Look at them now. A Loose Woman panelist, a half baked and half witted children's author, a crap radio station presenter and a...what the hell does Mel C do?

Here they are scampering around London resembling a posse of single mums off to a speed dating night at Wetherspoons.

Posh didn't make it. She's too busy flogging clothes in LA and kissing Ellen Degeneres's bumhole. Congrats Vics!
