Former javelin thrower, Fatima represented Britain at the highest level winning a silver at the 1984 Olympics, throughout her career she has been dogged by unkind, cruel jokes about her facial hair and manly physique.

But that's just not fair, she's an MBE, with a gold, two silver and bronze medal for Great Britain at major competitions.

She does look a bit manish though, doesn't she?
