Five-headed glitter monster, Girl Aloud's fame seems to just keep getting bigger - while the girls themselves get thinner. After their beginnings on Pop Stars the Rivals they were expected to be a one-or-two hit wonder but since then they've had loads of top ten hits and four massive albums. The girls must've spent most of their lives getting their make-up done and squeezed into dresses as they always looked fabulous- see the video for the Promise and the fact that event the ginger one is something of a fashion muse these days. They have been on hiatus since 2009 and a reunion is looking less and less likely after Cheryl's meteoric rise to national sweetheart due to becoming a judge on the X Factor and being cheated on by Ashley Cole, and Nadine's failure of a solo career has caused friction in the band.
