Sarah Harding speaks about rehab, says she was a 'mess'

As everyone else slumps alongside their Beroccas, milk thistle tables and salt and vinegar Discos, Sarah Harding has revealed that she's now been four weeks sober, which seems fairly impressive since she's not only had the Christmas run-up in that time but also her 30th birthday...Talking to Hello!, she explained:

"The day I left for rehab, I was in such a mess. I’ve been told by those close to me that was when I hit my worst.

"I was crying hysterically. I felt ashamed, embarrassed, terrified – my emotions were all over the place."

The Girls Aloud reunion that's definitely happening in 2012 is a bit like life

In the papers today, Kimberley “Princess Fiona” Walsh is reported as saying:

“Would I be OK if the reunion didn't happen? I could in terms of my career as I don't think we have anything to prove, but I'd be gutted from a personal point of view as I love performing in the band, that's why we're doing something next year - we never intended to stop for good.”

“Doing something next year”, she says. Well that’s nice.

Something kind of argghhhh

Three fifths of Girls Aloud go out in London, get quite tactile with fans

We're equally unsure of how the performance went, but what we do know is that Cheryl turned up in a ruff - begging for ROUGH headlnes - and got kissed by a fan who she's probably already been romantically linked to by now (look, he's got a pen, he's getting her number), while Nicola got a birthday card, and Kimberley got a collapsed lung and five broken ribs, which unfortunately means all future perfomances have to be cancelled.

Happy birthday, Nicola! Congrats/break a leg etc, Kim! Bore off, Cheryl!

So who stepped out of line this time? Well of course it's Kimberley bloody Walsh, ratbag du jour. Potty mouthed Kimberley has decided to go on record saying Nadine is basically a skeleton, a woman so skinny her bones get all aggravated if she even tries to move them near each other. Poor Nadine. IT'S CALLED BEING A SPAZ, KIMBERLEY. IT'S NOT FUNNY.

Three fifths of Girls Aloud do Horrid Henry premiere, Nadine and Cheryl washing hair

Apparently Kimberley Walsh has a small part as Prissy Polly in it, hence herself and her two band-mates being on the red carpet - they know what support means (actually, Nicole Roberts doesn't with that shoelace dress). Having appeared in St Trinian's 2 herself, Sarah Harding must've acted as some kind of mentor to Walsh. We thought she'd been busy keeping the bars of Ibiza in the black, but she's actually been working on her television career - see her CV here.

Personal Life: Hasn’t had the best of times, poor love. Don’t do it, Chezza!
Musically: Has been snapped going into the studio, following her X Factor exit.
Up for it? “She's getting back with Girls Aloud in 2012 and they're going to tour”, says living soundbite Louis Walsh (who, if you’ll recall, was supposed to be their manager but, according to Kimberley: “just never got involved”).

Nadine Coyle confirms Girls Aloud 2012 anniversary reunion after checking bank account

We jest, of course. The rest of the band do know about the comeback. It's all part of their 10th anniversary. But it's hard not to think that it was forced - or at least slightly initiated - by Nadine, who's having as much success with her US solo career as Chico.

And even if Nadine isn't getting so desperate that she left the girls hundreds of answer messages and Facebook posts begging them to get the old band back together, it's fun to think she did, isn't it, readers?

Our poor Nadine.

We thought that failing to sell more than 117 hard copies of your debut single was a career low, but it looks like you may have just sunk to a new one. Whoever told you that dressing up as a poor man's prostitute for this performance in a New York bar was a winning idea needs sacked. And if it was you yourself that decided it was a winning idea then, if it's possible, fire yourself. There's only four pictures here, but it would probably take us about a day to list the atrocities on view...

As you all know, that while Cheryl's been judging people's vocal talents and Nadine's been busy working in Tesco, Sarah Harding has been knuckling down and focusing on her acting career during Girls Aloud's permanent split hiatus. Nicola Roberts signs deal with Universal, Nadine cries into her Tesco Value tissues

Can we officially announce Girls Aloud as split up then? Three have gone solo, one's TV presenting career is about to take off and the other's acting career has already taken off, with starring roles in St Trinian's and St Trinian's 2. Thus, Holy Moly hereby announce Girls Aloud DEAD.

Nicola has already recorded most of her album and is set to unleash it onto our unfortunate ears in the new year.
