Nick Edes is a celebrity stylist, best known (by us) for his role alongside Kelly Osbourne and Julian Macdonald on Project Catwalk, although he also does a lot of important charity work. He threw a fundraiser for The Stroke Association last night and invited along some friends. Generous friends we hope; look how big Meg Mathews' pockets are - they must be filled with cash. Anyway, here's the press release:

Tara Palmer Tomkinson's nose and Vanessa Feltz's scab help launch Winter Wonderland

With her nose more gnarly than the big dipper, Tara Palmer Tomkinson got a nostalgia trip from Winter Wonder's festive snow scene, whilst Vanessa Feltz kept her scar from the flesh eating bug that tried to finish off her leg under-wraps, Lizzie Cundy straddled a horse and then got escorted away by a police man, and Henry Conway wore a coat stolen from the reindeer pen. Good times.

Roberto Cavalli store launches in London, interesting array of guests

First off, you’ve got your classic Cavalli woman. So that’s Lady Victoria Hervey flashing too much (very orange) flesh, Holly Valance in a glittery maxi, and Tamara Beckwith looking actually quite decent. Oh, and Caprice was there.

In a bid, perhaps, to make the label seem cool and young, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and Cher Lloyd were also there. The Saturdays all opted for floor-length gowns, with Vanessa completely swamped by her enlarged-print maxi (on loan, perhaps?). Surprisingly, Cher Lloyd’s outfit is fantastic; pared-down and classy, if a little uninspired.

We might not have any yacht parties, but London did host a few bashes last night - there was the British Heart Foundation's Tunnel of Love fundraiser, the press night of Cleopatra at Sadlers Wells theatre, Marie Claire's Inspire And Mentor Campaign cocktail night and the launch of FAB Face and Body Clinic in Harley Street...

Sarah Harding's engagement: starring Jason Statham as himself in 'The Only Famous Guest'

Since we seem unable to solve even the most basic of celebrity mysteries this morning, we'll move on to the rest of the crowd at what we're sure was a super-duper happy occasion. That's right, we're going to take out our Jason Statham shaped frustrations on Sarah Harding and her happy party made of happiness and unicorn farts, where everyone seemed to behave themselves and no-one threw up on the street (although we suspect someone might have thrown up in a purse, the sneaky Petes).

We're surprised the world didn't combust with both Conway and Lamb being in the same place at the same time, so we're grateful that the Geldof's didn't suddenly saunter on in (but that's another story coming up later!)

Beth Ditto, Jesus Luz, Coco Sumner and Henry Conway at Thomas Sabo in London, soupy

Still, at least Madge agreed to escort him to the party (unless this is another beard?).

Elsewhere, Coco Sumner was looking as miserable as Jesus looks thick, Ditto might have actually lost some weight (early Sophie Dahl-meets-Sophie Ellis Bextor-meets-Divine).

Apparently Thomas Sabo makes watches, which probably would've come in handy as time fleeew by last night.

InStyle hold charity bash, surprise guests include The Saturdays

Yes The bloody Saturdays, who have had a quiet night this week, and only spent every night since Sunday alternating between Mahiki and Whisky Mist. So due to their low profile, the girls threw on any clean clothes that they could find and popped along to the party (which was raising awareness for cervical cancer) in Shoreditch, where Jonanthan Ross left looking totally twashed.
