There’s no such thing as a bad Muppet film, by virtue of the fact that a Muppet is intrinsically funny. But it would be fair to say that the franchise looked to have run out of steam with The Muppets’ Wizard Of Oz TV movie and talk of reviving the original 1970s Muppet Show coming to nothing. But having been bought by Disney in 2004, a steady stream of on-point viral videos (including Beaker singing Ode To Joy and a rabbit-eating monster) hinted that Walt’s company had the wocka required to put blue weirdoes back on the big screen.  

Who knew that the young folk of Hollywood were such big fans of conceptual artist John Baldessari? They are, y'know - if we'd at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday, we would've heard Zac Efron and Joe Jonas discussing the artist's influence on Cindy Sherman and David Salle and the associative power of language within the boundaries of his work. Probably
