First turned us on playing high school hearththrob Jordan Catalano in excellent teen drama My So-Called Life. His subsequent film career sees nearly all of his characters suffering terrible, violent fates: Fight Club, American Psycho and nightmarish drug tale Requiem for a Dream. It seems directors just can't help but smash up those pretty features. Leto's reputation, in our eyes, is let down by his awful sub-My Chemical Romance emo band 30 Seconds to Mars. Man is really too old to wear eyeliner. Has a brother called Shannon.

We had a look through the list of nominations for this year's NME awards and we were most impressed by the fact they've managed to add five new awards. That and the fact that Rekorderlig are sponsoring one of the awards (for those who don't know, Rekorderlig is cider that tastes like rainbows and costs only slightly more than a small mortgage).

Worst dressed lists are always funny ones because they generally mean lumping the likes of Katie Price in with the more risk-taking members of the a-list. Still, a bad outfit is a bad outfit, so there's no room for elitism. More to the point, if Emma Watson's still going to pick a bad dress when she's got stylists queuing up with them, she's going to have to make do with sitting alongside Lauren Pope.
