Despite 'retiring' with a huge concert in 2003, the Hova was soon back in the game and has released two more albums since then, Kingdom Come and American Gangster. The cocky rapper headlined Glastonbury in 2008, causing disquiet from small-minded types, including Noel Gallagher. Jay-Z spoke back by opening his set with a cheeky cover of Wonderwall. The fact that he has been voted the greatest MC of all time by MTV and that he is married to Beyonce must mean that a few jibes from a past-it rocker would not really hurt.

Jay-Z was all up in his club 40/40 last night, re-opening that shit after a $10 million refurb. You can't re-open a club without a party though, so that's exactly what Jay did, he had a party for a very prestigious clientele. And yet not a single person of the caucasian persuasion was invited. That's racism, plain and simple. When will us white people get a break?
