Thermals look cute and cosy for about five minutes,  then six hours in and your gloried pyjamas are glued to your back with a layer of sweat as the heating causes your brain to melt onto your keyboard. We digress, but we're hot and wishing that our chill solution had been a faux fur trimmed Balenciaga coat chucked over a long sleeved Erdem dress. Sure, our legs would be goose-bumpy, but we'd also have a cab waiting outside. Obviously. Did we mention that in this fantasy we are Michelle Williams? Sigh...

Directors are those people who make actors stand around for unnecessarily long hours in the cold while they look moody wearing fleece jackets and baseball caps - they don't deserve a fancy award parties, no one wants to see them on the red carpet. Ah, but it's okay because some ACTORS turned up at the Director Guild of America Awards too and everyone likes looking at them. The stupid directors think it's because they're being supportive, but really it's because the actors want to be directors themselves - look at Jennifer Aniston - smiling away whilst secretly plotting a future of wearing fleeces and snapping a clapper board...
