Jonathan Rhys Meyers gets all drunk and racist on a flight

After drinking vodka shots in the airport lounge before 7am and getting completely shitfaced, airport staff refused to allow the Irish actor onto his flight to LA.

Jonathan was quite rightly outraged at this - after all, why can't a world famous actor who has been in rehab twice and already having been arrested for being drunk at an airport twice, neck a bucketful of vodka and stagger onto a plane.

So he did what any self respecting washed up boozehead would do - starting lashing out furiously and started shouting out "nigger" indiscriminately.

BAFTAs 2010: red carpet arrivals from Kristen Stewart, Carey Mulligan, RPattz etc

As you may recall from the BAFTA nominations list, we're in for a long night - the television coverage doesn't even start until 9pm, but the celebs (and Trudi Styler) have already started arriving. The good news is that it was the IFTAs last night (you probably already heard about them) and Avatar didn't win a single gong, so hopefully the British equivalent will follow, right?
