Kanye West wants to be the new Michael Jackson

Apparently, he'd like to be the new Michael Jackson, albeit without the kiddy fiddling accusations, mild insanity and then death by drinking anaesthetic. According to the producer and longtime Kanye collaborator No I.D (Dion Wilson), who has recently opened up to Complex.com about the batshit rapper, anyway:

"One day, we took Kanye to meet former Sony Music Chairman Donnie Ienner, and he danced around singing this song and saying, 'I’m gonna be the next Michael Jackson.'

"To us, it was like, 'This is hip-hop! What are you talking about? Are you kidding me?'

Altough it's always been at the back of Kanye's mind that perhaps he shouldn't have listened to his so called friends back then. After all, he's not just a musician, he's an inspiration. Millions of people look up to him everyday and think 'What would Kanye do?'. Paris Fashion Week SS 2012: Kanye West

Kanye West once did an internship at Louis Vuitton that probably involved him pattern cutting as much as making cups of tea. Whatever, though, he's got money so he can be a fashion designer if he likes - just like Victoria Beckham. Except, as VB knows, it takes more than packing a front row with celebs (Beyonce and Jay-Z were rumoured to be backstage) to really make it - for a start, you need clothes that fit (the New York Times moaned about the poor manufacturing).

Paris Fashion Week SS 2012: Lindsay Lohan nips to front row, plus more

We're honestly not sure why Lohan insists on making her boobs look as bad as possibly - they're arguably the best thing she's got going for herself at the moment yet she continues to mash them around like a spud - her mum clearly never told her the importance of a good bra :(

London Fashion Week SS 2012: Kanye, Middleton and everyone else hit the front row

Joining West on the front row, we have Sienna Miller, Gemma Arterton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Donna Air (Arterton wins the lather-pants off between the three), Anna Wintour, Mario Testino, Jefferson Hack, Weller and his kids, George Craig and Andy Murray. Beating the latter in the zzzz department, we also have Pippa Middleton at Temperley London.

Obviously all the usual suspects were loitering, too - Pixie Geldof, Jaime Winstone, Eliza Doolittle - AKA Eliza Does Little Except Attend Events, but - SHOCK - no Paloma Faith. Must've run out of stupid hats - replenish quick!
