Winter TV Press Tour 2012: actors plug new shows, some rather unenthusiastically

Because of the glorious wide-reaching audience of the telly box, we've got the likes of Jessica Simpson nestled alongside Kiefer Sutherland. No idea what the former is up to, but the latter has a new show called Touch, where he plays Martin Bohm, 'a widower and single father, who is haunted by his inability to communicate with his 11-year-old son Jake, who has been misdiagnosed as being autistic but is actually supernatural'. Dammit Jake!

24 movie due to start filming in spring, Bauer's back, baby

According to Deadline.com, Sutherland will be reprising his role as the toughest man in boot-cut jeans for the big-screen version 24, which producer Brian Grazer and Fox are planning to start filming in April 2012 once the actor completes the current series of drama Touch.

Then again, it does have Jack Bauer and Eric the Vampire, so that's two rights rectifying several wrongs. Plus, more to the point, it looks really quite good. Better than the apocalyptic film where Bruce Willis has to drill a hole into a star anyway... And Kirsten Dunst won the Best Actress prize for it at Cannes.

And why did no-one tell me that fracking Starbuck was appearing in it?

All the geeks need is an Apple tablet, a deleted scene from Bladerunner and George Lucas to appear saying that Han shot first and there will be 75 million simultaneous bearded orgasms.

Scooby Doo didn't exactly go according to plan did it Freddie...

Bauer's back! Keifer Sutherland spotted filming 24 Day 8 in Los Angeles

So, it looks like Kim might have FINALLY done something useful in her life, eh? Not that her dad looks too happy to be alive... Still, we're glad that Bauer manages to get a breather in the new series, sitting on the pavement chugging a cig having previously never even been to the lav.

The 42-year-old '24' star (pictured with his stylist girlfriend Siobhan Bonnouvrier earlier this month) has been let of by the New York District Attorney after kissing and making up in private with the designer in question after the incident where the actor went all Rac C Nesbitt with the poor chap's nose while protecting Brook Shield's honour.
