Hackney-girl-done-good Leona won the X Factor in 2006 and from the first warbles of her subsequent Christmas number one, A Moment Like This, you can hear the connection with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and tonnes of money. Unlike other X-Factor winners (anyone remember Steve Brookstein?), she has gone on to have further hits and quality Bleeding Love went to number one in 30 countries, including the US. Her only problem being that she is devoid of a personality. In 2009 she was punched at a book signing which, apart from winning the X Factor and selling a few million records, is the only thing of interest that has ever happened to her.

Worst dressed lists are always funny ones because they generally mean lumping the likes of Katie Price in with the more risk-taking members of the a-list. Still, a bad outfit is a bad outfit, so there's no room for elitism. More to the point, if Emma Watson's still going to pick a bad dress when she's got stylists queuing up with them, she's going to have to make do with sitting alongside Lauren Pope.
