It's kind of a shame that Mariah has become a deluded figure of fun because at her prime - with her multi-octave range and belly-baring jeans, she was so much fun. Half-black Mariah has a genuine hip hop background (see her collaboration with Busta Rhymes ) and hits Fantasy and All I Want For Christmas is You are pop classics. It's disappointing that she had to play the victim in thinly-veiled bio-pic Glitter and continue to be only photographed from one side of her face.
