For some unknown reason, we've now got the National Movie Awards in the UK. The National Television Awards have been around for long enough that it doesn't matter anymore, but the National Movie Awards? Apparently it's got something to do with the fact that it's the public voting rather than the miserable old guffs who man the BAFTA panel, but we're pretty sure we trust the miserable old guffs a lot more than Mike and Angie from Basildon.

It's difficult to decide at some of these events whether the celebrities are there for free goods or just to promote themselves. Based on the fact that this is a Pokemon launch, we're assuming it's going to be attended by various skint, yet famous, people just popping along to pick up a copy of the game for their kids. Of course, in the wild and wonderful world of non-sequiturs this means that everyone there is trying to pick up a game for their sproglets, so in conclusion, JLS ALL HAVE SECRET LOVE CHILDREN.    ...And that's how rumours start. You heard it here first.
