Mischa Barton opening a high-end boutique in London, fashion set licks lips

According to (actually quite old but previously unnoticed) reports, Mischa Barton is planning to open a clothes shop in London's glorious Shoreditch.

With a working title of 'Mischa's Closet', the O.C actress and her mum are said to be choosing designs to convert it into "a posh art-deco outlet", with a source telling the Mirror:

"They're drawing inspiration from high-end stores like Biba and Louis Vuitton."

Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards 2011: The red carpet arrivals and winners

The Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards seemed to largely be an X Factor-based event, which was pleasant for everyone since Simon Cowell had reportedly given them a large boot up the arse earlier in the day. Tulisa and Kelly are apparently friends again, which is nice, although maybe not so much for Alexandra Burke, who was also in attendance and probably now has nothing to ruin do this weekend.

In other news, Mischa's got a new film coming out called Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. Sounds like a lot of fun. Finally a disaster movie with a real life death toll in the thousands.

Also, if you liked these pictures and you live in London (East London we're guessing) then why don't you pop along to his exhibition at 27a Devonshire Street, W1G? There's probably lots more like this. Meat and two celebs, Fearne Cotton sausages, that kind of thing.

Celebs flock to watch men on horse-back waving mallets around in the rain, looks fun

Polo used to be a posh game before Katie Price ruined centuries of prestige by riding in on her pink horsebox, but the sport was still trying to cling onto some sense of dignity over the weekend at the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Final. A bit of a mixed result on the style front really - we've got bonafide horsey type Jodie Kidd trying to single-handedly bring back C&A and 14-year-old Chloe Moretz pouting like daddy wouldn't buy her a pony so she needs to find a special uncle friend to treat her instead :-/
