The original Sugababes reform, current Sugababes probably not too happy

Unfortunately for the girls they'll be competing with their old band, the Sugababes, although Mutya does has the rights to all paper goods, so while they may not be able to call themselves the Sugababes, they will be able to sell Sugababes sticker albums and posters. Thank God for that.

So pretty much all we've got left to do is suggest a name for the new band. Here are the ones we came up with:

Mutya Wins Back Sugababes As Bucks Fizz Lose Similar Fight

So as Holy Moly exclusively revealed bleeding ages ago, founding member of the girlgroup, Mutya filed an application to trademark the Sugababes name, back in 2009.

But yesterday the Celebrity Big Brother contestant, who quit the band in 2005, wrote on Facebook: "I won the official name of the Sugababes now!!! I deserve this! I’m over the moon!"

EXCLUSIVE: Keisha, Mutya and Siobhann launch legal assault on current members

All three original members of the Sugababes have applied to the European Trademarks Authority and are seeking ownership of the name 'Sugababes'. If successful (likely) then the three will own the rights to use the name on goods like CDs and services like entertainment throughout Europe.

Amazingly, the name had never been trademarked before and the current members, record company and management are now left in a right royal shit fight on their hands.

Exclusive: The original Sugababes ARE definitely reforming

Even as I type the three are in a second meeting with a potential producer (thought to be William Orbit or Stuart Price) and their label (thought to be Warners).

The label are keen for them to work with Orbit, but Siobhan is said to be reluctant.

On top of the new group deal, all three have been offered seperate solo deals as a bit of a sweetener.

This is pretty ace news for them (They were fucking great) but dreadful news for the current Sugababes, who can't seem to organise a piss up in a brewery at the moment.

Hurray to them!

Mutya rumoured to be plotting relaunch of original Sugababes line-up

Heidi's lost her voice... Jade's not yet unpacked her suitcase... Amelle might have gone nuts... Bet no one thought Mutya would choose now as the time to try and relaunch the original Sugababes line-up, eh?

According The Sun, Mutya has been in touch with Keisha and Siobhan to try and organise a reunion.

Keisha Buchanan leaves the Sugababes to be replaced by Jade Ewen

And contrary to reports, it would seem that Keisha was unaware she has now been replaced by 21-year-old Jade. Just as Amelle ws unaware that she had been kidnapped the other week...

Keisha 'tweeted' last night:

"Although it was not my choice to leave, it's time to enter a new chapter in my life."

As the original Sugababe it was only a matter of time the forever changing group would see the back of Buena. Starting out with pals, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya sang her way into becoming one third of a hugely successful British band. But one bun in the oven later and she decided to leave the group and focus on solo projects. Her first single 'Real Girl' reached number 2 in charts, and the North West London girl dueted with George Michael and released one of the best singles ever (Song 4 Mutya) with Groove Armada.
