So as the exciting story goes, good old Fozzy Wosbourne went along to a charity auction with his wife Sharaaan, whereupon they found a rescued Yorkshire terrier they both wanted so, very, very much they decided to bid on it. Despite the gigantic tax bill hanging over their heads. Mind you, tax money and puppy money are two different things. Everyone knows that.

Anyway, this time round, the singer was speaking to Kerrang! magazine about how things were during the height of his success in the '80s, when bats were being bitten and heroin was being had:

"Alcoholism is ruthless. I could not stop drinking. Sharon [Osbourne] would have parties and I'd have to be the only one not invited. At the end of the day I was a miserable fucking arsehole."

God Bless Ozzy Osbourne premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, god bless all the guests too

The doc, which covers everything from Ozzy's Brummie upbringing to reality show, has been getting impressive reviews... While the earlier stuff is said to cover bits of interesting info like the fact that Black Sabbath's self-titled debut was recorded in twelve hours for “about ten bucks”, it moves onto more familiar family stuff like Kelly and Jack's drug problems, blahdeblah... There's a bit about his other kids too (not Aimee, the ones from his first marriage, who have slightly differently shaped faces).

Kelly Osbourne calls John Lydon an old queen after he brands Ozzy a senile delinquent

The original comment by Lydon to the Sunday Mercury took aim at Ozzy's over-acted bullshit lifestyle, somewhat ironically:

“Ozzy now acting like a senile delinquent is equally unimpressive. The sly innuendo of promoting drug abuse and catatonic stupidity offends me.

“I’m not one for banning drugs, quite the opposite. But I understand how to use them, and they don’t use me. Ozzy is clearly a victim, and selling that loser lifestyle shit to other people equally victimises them.”

Ozzy Osbourne gives advice on drugs, booze, everyone inclined to believe him

He's certainly lived the life, from a chemical point of view anyway, which is why we were amazed that no-one had picked him up to write about drugs and drink and all that palava up until recently, when he became a health columnist for both The Sunday Times and Rolling Stone. It's time to get serious about drugs, but in a different way.
