She was once a sought after choreographer who then decided to have a pop at becoming a singer. Her attempt at breaking into the music industry was pretty successful winning a Grammy Award for 'Opposites Attract' and even taught Janet Jackson some killer moves for her videos. She is now more commonly seen selecting raw talent from American Idol contestants, and has publicly claimed to be the inspiration to Beyonce and Rihanna. We'll have to take your word for it then Paula. In 2009 she announced that she would not be returning to American Idol, and has since opted for a dramatic career change; as judge for the X-Factor US.
