Pete Burns is an English singer-songwriter who founded the band Dead or Alive in 1980. Their most famous song was their 1985 single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)". Since then everything has pretty much gone tits-up for poor old Meltyface. 

While he used to dress all weird and androgynous (kind of like a slightly less bonkers Marilyn Manson) to make himself more interesting, it was only a matter of time until he got into cosmetic surgery. Of course, he didn't stop with a slice or two off his sticky-out ears, no, Pete went the whole hog and had his entire face changed. Unfortunately, the surgeon did a pretty shitty job and now he looks like Jabba The Hutt.

Despite being gay, he was married for 28 years and it wasn't until 2006 that he came out. That was also the year he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. We're not sure whether the two are connected, nor do we really care.

Finally, Pete is from Liverpool, which makes the whole thing a little bit funnier, especialy since he also has absolutely enormous balls. Like melons in a meaty hammock.
