Victoria Louise Lott was given the nickname 'Pixie' by her mother because she was a "tiny, cute baby who looked like a fairy". There's an interesting fact about Pixie Lott. But apart from having a quirky name, she hasn't done anything else of interest (her real name is the very uninteresting Victoria Louise Lott). 

Pixie was just another name in the long line of female artist who attempted to breakthrough in 2009 (see Little Boots, La Roux, Florence Welch and all of The Saturdays) and she made a momumentally mediocre impact on the music scene. For your typical popstar, she ticks all the boxes: attractive, able to sing... well, she ticks both of the boxes - and that's more than can be said for Little Boots. Pixie does deserve some credit, however. Her songs tend to be generically good (i.e. catchy as fuck) pop music and she had two number ones before she even turned 19. Her acting career isn't quite so successful though. Perhaps she should just think about having a few more nights in - we've already seen enough drunken photos of her to last us a lifetime.
