L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Charity Evening: Rachel Zoe, Kelly Osbourne, Heather Graham

Anyway, not everyone shares our view, some even going so far as to present her with an honour last night at LA's Gay and Lesbian centre. Despite her job being on a similar level of importance as celebrity gossip websites, she still managed to pull in the crowds, with Heather Graham, Kelly Osbourne, Mandy Moore and Jennifer Grey all attending her crowning ceremony.

Yeah, she really managed to pull in the crowds.

For starters, Patrick Stewart was there, and he doesn't even get out of bed for less than a comedy animater voiceover these days. It wasn't just Patrick trying his best not to cry about how homesick he was though, he was joined by Benedict Cumberbatch, Agnyness Deyn, Rufus Sewell and Tilda Swinton on the British team, while the effervescent, charming, beautiful, engaging, smart Emma Stone had Charlize Theron, the mysterious Elizabeth Olsen, Liev Schreiber, Lydia Hearst, Jessica Biel, Johnny Knoxville and Kelsey Grammer's eccentric facial hair on her American side.

Rooney's pretty much owned the week - and we think she deserves it after having to spend much of the year either naked or looking angry in combats. But just because the actress has softened her style now, it doesn't mean she's chucked Lisbeth to the curb entirely - she recently admitted that literary heroine gave her a taste for androgyny, which definitely shows. Probably just as well since she has another two sequels left to film... Too bad for her real life sister Kate Mara who looked more like The Girl With The Bad Dress at the New York prem.

Elsewhere, Julianne Moore and Lea Michele showed even more front, Rachel McAdams and Jessica Biel went for floor-length silver, Chloe Sevigny and Parker Posey were scarlet ladies (and red with shame), Abigail Breslin gave Chloe Moretz a run for her (pocket) money, Hilary Swank looked swanky in navy, SJP looked nice in floral, Christina Hendricks looked slightly frumpy, Kirsten Dunst and Kate Bosworth looked sophisticated in shirt dresses, Angelina Jolie looked like Angelina Jolie, Rebecca Hall looked elegant in trousers and LeAnn Rimes wore a snuggie.

LACMA intolerant

Everyone in Hollywood goes to the LACMA party to honour Clint Eastwood & John Baldessari

As well as honouring Baldessari, the LACMA paid tribute to Clint Eastwood. We're not completely sure what the whole event was about but it was held at a museum, so probably something to do with fundraising - look, all the girls above bought their purses except for Evan Rachel Wood. Crafty Evan, there's no persuading her to hand over her cash. Not when she's got it hidden in her knickers.

ELLE Women in Hollywood Tribute: Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon may have some news

Because this was in Los Angeles, it wasn't quite the hen party of harpies it would've been in London - although we're sure Jon Hamm's hosting duties would've brought out a few squeals. We particularly wonder if Jennifer Aniston might have stayed sober because, y'know, she might have some news... Maybe that she ate carbs after 6pm last night. Maybe something else.

Although, in a confusing twist, we say enjoy the present but we also mean the past, because Evan Rachel Wood's 70s-inspired Gucci number is one of the week's top looks - a little bit dom, a little bit detective, we love it.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, we have our beloved Emma Stone looking great in Luca Luca. The actress got a few thumbs-downs this week but we think she should be saluted for daring to wear white with such pale skin. Love the hair and makeup too.

Paris Fashion Week SS 2012: Lindsay Lohan nips to front row, plus more

We're honestly not sure why Lohan insists on making her boobs look as bad as possibly - they're arguably the best thing she's got going for herself at the moment yet she continues to mash them around like a spud - her mum clearly never told her the importance of a good bra :(

Moving swiftly on, we've got Anna Wintour almost having fun, Julianne Moore (in her FIFTIES!), Salma Hayek (her husband basically owns fashion), Macca, Orlando Bloom, Olivia Palermo, the Olsen twins pruning all over the front row, a bit of Ciara nipple, Rachel Zoe, Naomi Campbell and Jared Leto.
