The Amazing Spider-Man's Rhys Ifans arrested for battery at Comic Con

According to reports, Ifans allegedly pushed a female security guard just before going into the Spiderman panel, because she refused to let a member of his entourage enter the room with him. The guard allowed him to complete his panel appearance, which is considerably nicer than we would have been in her position, before arresting him for misdemeanour battery once he'd emerged.

But HOW DARE SHE? Doesn't she know Rhys is the star classics such as Kevin and Perry Go Large and Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties? The cheek of it, really!

The Amazing Spider-man on set pics - Rhys Ifans gets make-up ready

What are they playing at? Is that mask to hide the real make-up from those pesky cameras, is it some kind of chromakey thing so they can add the face later (he should wear one at all times if so) or is it actually part of the script (as in "I'm not a lizard I just think turquoise is so 'now'").

And the Green Goblin is still never far away from Spiderman movies - Peter is stood outside an Oscorp building, having found a child's skateboard.

Celebrity couples update: Anna Friel and Rhys Ifans?

According to reports, Rhys Ifans played his wacky Notting Hill character by posing in his dressing gown on Anna Friel's front porch over the weekend, which has obviously led to speculation that they're dating, particularly since they recently filmed a new straight to TV film called Neverland. Really rather inevitable, isn't it? Still, at least Friel would finally lose her smug pout if she did Ifans from behind...

Rhys Ifans cast as villain in new Spider-Man film, possibly The Baghead or Pubehair

In his crusade to make everyone on the planet feel a bit sick at the sight of him, something his new Litvinenko style haircut can't apparently do on it's own, Ifans has targeted a new demographic - nerds.

Except for the time they saw Notting Hill just so they'd have something to talk to Mary Johnson about in chemistry, most comic book fans are totally unaware of the hard drinking pap-puncher, something that's set to change once he stars in the new Spider-Man (pronounced spidermun) film as the a villain.

Nice Guy premiere: Rhys Ifans has wet pubey plughole on his head

Here he is, looking like Brian Blessed's bathplug at the premiere for 'Nice Guy' - something about that bloke that smuggling dope about 500 years ago and hasn't stopped harping on about it since.

Apparently there's a great scene where like, they get TOTALLY stoned and just don't care. The police know what they're all up to, but they just don't give a fuck - Take that LAW!

Mummy Rocks annual charity event, mums and Rhys Ifans get pissed

Also attending the Mummy Rocks annual charity, which raises money for the Great Ormand Street Hospital,held at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London were Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, Rhys Ifans (with his Sheffield style mullet), Tracey Emin and her gargantuan gob (and 'norks'), Damien Lewis, Sharleen Spiteri, Bobby Gillseppie, Tamara Beckwith and Katy Brand, who'd obviously made a real effort for the black tie event...

Banksy premiere happens, celebs paint the town.

Along with a swan breaking a child's arm, the one thing you also remember from your childhood is not to light a match near an aerosol. Ray Winstone should have spent less time eating and acting and more time teaching his tearaway daughter about the dangers of naked flames near chemicals.

Schoolboy error.

As if that wasn't enough, Jaime decided to spray at all the waiting paparazzi, which is just stupid. No pictures of Jaime - an unhappy Jaime.
