Physically assaulting the charts in the early 2000 with the UK Garage collective/army So Solid Crew, Romeo had the lead part in Oh No and one of the most memorable verses in 21 Seconds, which reached no. 1 in the UK Charts and threatened middle-aged, middle-class daily mail reporters who claimed that So Solid Crew would cause every young person to follow their lead of street crime and also possibly speaking for only 21 seconds at a time.

After the break up of So Solid Crew due to various prison sentences, Romeo released his track Romeo Dunn, which got to number 4 and a track with Christina Milian titled It's All Gravy, which bought a new phrase to everyone's vocabularly. His album Solid Love didn't do as well.

He was on The Games and some other reality TV shows and is signed to Lisa Maffia's record label and set to release a second album soon.

He is the third most successful member from So Solid Crew after Ashley Walters and Lisa Maffia.
