Ronan Keating, Jenny Frost and others swim the Irish Sea, David Walliams ups the ante

There's not really anything to scoff at with Keating's lot - not even a quick LOL at the pink bathing cap or fact that they probably all peed in their wetsuits to get that lovely warm feeling. The group of swimmers left Holyhead in Wales, at 9pm on Tuesday night and, 65 miles later, arrived on a beach just north of Wicklow pier at 8.18am yesterday morning. We can't even remember what we were doing during that time, swimming in a sea of merlot most likely.

Louis Walsh dumps Boyzone, best thing he's ever done

Boyzone returned to our lives in 2007 after seven years posted missing in action, and we doubt we could name a single song they've released since then. In fact, if we put our mind to it, we could probably only name about four or five songs they released in their original heyday. Saying that, Picture Of You is a great tune.

Anyway, what we're trying to say here is this: they're past it.

This bunch were all either leaving the Ivy or Groucho last night, wondering why the tumbleweeds were rolling through until they remembered that every c+ list celeb was either too tanked from the BAFTAs or over the road at the Elle Style Awards... It's a shame that Ronan Keating's wife Yvonne didn't make it to the fashion event really - Karl Lagerfeld was waiting there to get his outfit back.

Laureus Sports Awards: Ronan Keating does chin-ups while Morgan Freeman looks on

Along with Ronan, Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman were also there to provide entertainment to the world's best (and we're sure, most interesting) sportspeople. We're not sure exactly what though, maybe a hilarious dialogue or a whimsical party trick. Possibly even that one where they get on each other's shoulders and pretend to be a 10 foot tall John McEnroe. That's always fun, and this time, topical to boot.

After cheating on her with a backing dancer and then being thrown out of the family house during a supposedly irreconcilable split, you'd be forgiven for wondering why Ronan Keating and his wife seem to be so pally. No, seriously. We have no idea.

Anyway, here the two are pictured having tattoos done together (allegedly, it looks like only Yvonne's actually getting pricked, but we trust our photographers implicitly. Why would they lie?). God only knows what they could have been getting done. Hopefully something legally binding.

Ronan was granted permission by his wife, Yvonne, to spend time with his children for a few days, and so took them for a round of golf at Ireland's most exclusive golfing resort, The K Club.

He wasn't, however, granted permission to the family home. When he turned up yesterday, his wife apparently told him "you're not welcome here" and then slammed the door in his face (we hope).
