Ross Kemp was one half of the hard-faced Mitchell twins that scared every living soul in Albert Square. Despite his muscular exterior and deep cockney accent, his tough guy look was destroyed when rumours spread that his wife (Sun editor Rebekah Wade) had beaten the shit out of him and got herself arrested. She was released without charge and the case was dropped. Turning his broad back on acting Kemp is now more commonly seen in documentaries such as Ross Kemp on Gangs, and Ross Kemp in Afghanistan, which are fucking brilliant.
