Famous for being married to The Speaker (of the House of Commons), so not famous to anyone who doesn't watch Daily Politics and read a newspaper more highbrow than The Times, so not very famous at all then.

She failed at politics a couple of times in different guises, and got a bit 'in the shit' because there was claims that she was politicising her husband's neutral role (whatever that means), to which she said: "Bollocks" (or similar). 

She posed in the Evening Standard in just a bedsheet, which backfired and everyone hated her even more.
